Gerald Smiley is a former professional baseball player, entrepreneur, and philanthropist with a passion for making a lasting impact. Drafted in the 9th round of the MLB Draft by the Texas Rangers straight out of high school, Gerald learned early on the value of discipline, resilience, and leadership—qualities that have fueled his success beyond the baseball field.

Now a tech founder and author, he is dedicated to building innovative solutions that bridge the gap between sports, communication, business, and community empowerment. 

A proud Seattle native, Gerald is deeply committed to giving back. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he played a key role in raising $3 million for the Federal Way School District, ensuring students and families received the support they needed during challenging times.  Gerald served 6 years as Vice Chariman of the Board of Commissioners for Seattle Housing Authority, after stepping down recently.
